Justin Chon took time out of his schedule recently to talk about his starring role in the "Twilight" saga. "I think it's a huge deal, man. I think Asian American's need to step it up in terms of the whole film game and push boundaries...I'm so proud," Chon said in an interview with Radar Online. Chon plays Eric Yorkie, one of the few human characters in the hit series. Chon also expressed his frustration with Asians getting cast into stereotypical roles.
The Asian star will receive the Nova Award this weekend at The Diversity Awards. "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" opens this Friday.
