The Diversity Awards, having cultivated a reputation as an annually anticipated Hollywood event known for its top name musical talent and celebrity guests, will celebrate its 17th anniversary at the fabulous Beverly Hills Hotel, on Sunday, November 8th in Beverly Hills, California at 6 p.m.
With this year’s theme “Celebrating Diversity – All the Right Moves, All the Right Talent – One Star at a Time” the star-studded black tie gala held annually by the Multicultural Motion Picture Association, will again present awards for creative accomplishment and contributions to diverse perspectives, talent and ideas in the cinematic arts and television. With a cross-section of international stars and talent, the Diversity Awards is considered by many, a unique franchise that involves and excites the international film community in such a way that its audience and participants have grown tremendously with the success of each passing year.
Past presenters have included Robert DeNiro, Renee Zellweger, Will Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, Salma Hayek and Sharon Stone. Last year’s television award recipients included the Fox drama “House,” TNT’s critically drama “Saving Grace” and ESPN’s gripping made-for-television mini-series “Black Magic.”
The Diversity Awards will be taped for a fall airing.
